Ingredients:
Mix together until uniform and crumbly:
3 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 scant cup vegetable oil
Combine: 2 Tbsp. lemon juice & water to = 1/2 c.
Sprinkle and mix liquid into flour mixture until uniform.
Press larger half of dough into 9 inch pie plate with fingers, working
dough into an even layer.
Flute top edge, then pour pie filling into prepared pie plate.
Cover filling with grape sized bits of the remaining dough, flattened
between thumb and fingers, overlapping pieces and overlapping edges.
Lay a piece of foil over crust to bake.
Remove foil the last 10 minutes to brown crust.
Bake 400 degrees for 60 minutes.
Makes 9 1/2 inch double crust
