Know Your Neighbor ~ February 2013

The Cox Family

Pam was born in Panguitch, Utah. Shortly thereafter her family moved to Moab where she spent most of her growing up years.  They then moved to Salt Lake City when she was a senior in high school.  She likes to sew, which she mostly learned from helping her mom when she was young.  She also enjoys golfing and gardening.  Pam works for a manufacturing company in Salt Lake.  They manufacture micronutrients for plants.  She has worked there since 1987 and does all the purchasing for the company.  She also oversees all of the shipping.  She enjoys the opportunity she has to work with her sister, who is her assistant.

Pam has one daughter and one son, who are both married.  Her son is a professional snowboarder and travels all over the world. Although Pam's children don't have any children yet, she loves being Grandma to Paul's grandchildren. She is currently teaching the five and six year old primary class and loves working with young children.

Paul grew up in Orangeville, Utah.  When he was a freshman in high school, his family moved to Moab.  He lived in Moab until about 6½ years ago when he moved to Salt Lake.  While living in Moab, Paul was a Justice Court Judge and a general contractor for many years.  When he moved to Salt Lake he retired from being a judge, but he is still working as a general contractor.  He is very talented at general contracting and built their beautiful new home here in our ward.  He is currently helping his son build a new home.

Paul has two sons, one daughter, and ten grandchildren. He likes to spend time with his sons in the outdoors while hunting and fishing. He also enjoys golfing and scuba diving.  His current calling in the ward is in the Young Men's organization working with the Priests.

Pam and Paul have been married almost seven years.  They enjoy golfing, bowling, and traveling together.  Some of the places they have traveled are Hawaii, Cozumel, Palm Springs and Scottsdale.

We are glad to have the Cox family in our neighborhood!
